She didn’t mess about, she told me exactly what needed to be done to improve the property and get it sale-ready, and that direct approach really worked for me. She was always on the ball, proactive, and very helpful throughout the whole process. Lucy in the office was also excellent to deal with. I could just say Bobby was great, professional, communicative, pro-active, knowledgeable, informative etc. Bobby was all of those things from the very beginning but you see that on every review so apologies if I go on a bit and tell the story. I was raised in Wexford but I have lived in the UK for 40 years. Had a house to sell in Wexford and asked my niece to help locally. She was friendly with a number of estate agents and didn’t want to pick a favourite. So she showed them all around and answered any questions but firmly “my house, my decision”. Bobby was the only one to ask my niece if he could speak to me directly, just to introduce himself and give me a chance to ask questions. I like pro-activity – it’s a great indicator of what to expect. Bobby explained his thinking on how he would market the property but cautioned me that realistically it could take some time (possibly a year) to find the right buyer but he knew some people he thought would be interested. Less than two months later, sale agreed, great price, perfect buyer – all good. However, I’d forgotten how casual and “flexible” things could be in Ireland and we had lots of issues – nothing major but some seemed quite huge at the time. Bobby was right there, every time I needed to know what to do, who to turn to – he knew or he found out. He listened to my rants when I got frustrated and reassured me. I can’t say it was easy but it would have been far worse if I hadn’t been able to rely on Bobby throughout. Bobby’s team also deserve a mention, well aware that the “front-man” can’t do his job well without solid support.
